Well, our Offer Manager Charlie has returned safely from her epic bike ride, which in 5 days took her further than the London to Paris route by bicycle!

The 350+ miles were completed in 5 days, starting in Portsmouth England. Continued through Cherbourg, France and followed the Normandy landings and Liberation route from 65 years ago. The event culminated in Paris with a ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe for all of the fallen from WWII, before swamping the Champs Elysee and finishing at the Eiffel tower.

Blood, sweat and tears were all given and we at GDM are all really very proud of Charlie. What have you done today to make yourself feel proud? Click here to watch the invasion!

The last mission is to help Charlie smash her fundraising target by the 1st July 09.

We are delighted to welcome Elissa Benson to the Global Direct Media team.

Elissa has been taking care of business for our parent company Unanimis and as we were experiencing such rapid growth in affiliate numbers we needed someone with a terrific personality to assist in the day to day activities of Global Direct Media.

As Elissa is based in our London office she will primarily be looking after our UK based affiliates and if you are planning on attending Internet World at the end of this month be sure to arrange to meet up with Elissa and Lucinda who will be flying the Global Direct Media flag, while Jim will be attending the a4uexpo in Amsterdam (who organises two exhibitions at the same time!)
